Community Education
Funded by a grant from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, our Teton County team recently offered a webinar, "Legal and Financial Planning for Kids and Adults with Disabilities."
Social Security and Medicaid Waiver benefits are essential for nearly every CES client, but rules regarding asset and income limits can be confusing. Similarly, when children with disabilities approach the age of 18, the process of establishing guardianship and/or conservatorship can be daunting.
We sought to provide an overview of the legal and financial tools that help protect benefits and plan for the future – special needs trusts, ABLE accounts, guardianship, and conservatorship.
Please watch the webinar recording and download the resource page in English or Spanish.
