Ways to leave a legacy
Many people are cash poor but asset rich. Consider the following options below for how you can create a lasting legacy for years to come on behalf of our dear friends, neighbors, and relatives who have developmental or intellectual disabilities or who have experienced traumatic brain injuries and will need a life time of care.
A will or bequest
Anyone can create a will or bequest and specifically name a beneficiary of a whole or part of their estate. Lawyers can help set up the terms valid in Wyoming and they will ask for the legal name of any charity you would like to include. Our official legal name is "Community Entry Services, Inc." and our Federal Tax ID number is 83-02222400
Life insurance gifts
Many people who have life insurance policies don't know that they MAY include charitable beneficiaries like Community Entry Services!
Usually term or whole life policies can be amended at little to no cost with whomever is the provider by simply calling them and asking about adding an additional beneficiary to the policy.
Example: "I'd like to add Community Entry Services to my Life Insurance policy as a partial beneficiary." You can decide what percentage of the policy to designate to CES, inc. or consider making us the sole beneficiary after loved ones are taken care of.
A gift of Real Estate
If you own your a home, vehicle, or property outright, without a mortgage, you can transfer ownership to Community Entry Services, Inc. and reap certain tax benefits. For more information call Joe Stong, 307-856-5576
A gift of stocks and bonds
Ownership of stocks and bonds can be transferred to Community Entry Services, Inc. without incurring taxes since they don't need to be sold first (and so you wouldn't realize income). To make such a transfer of ownership, please contact us.
