But what if I'm in a wheelchair?

Providing wheelchair assessible transportation is one of the core services CES provides for our community to help them live as independent and normal lives as possible

Even the mundane, everyday ordinary things of life are complicated when you are in a wheelchair. Like going to church!

Angel expressed interest in going to Holy Rosary Church in Lander. That's when Matt Andersen reached out to the local parish and arranged things to ensure a safe smooth entry point without stairs. Then he used one of our customized minivans equipped with a ramp that allows her electric wheelcare to smoothly load and unload without much effort.

But the same goes for grocery shopping, going to various stores around town and to visit friends: clients shouldn't have to be cooped up at home for lack of transportation so Community Entry Services provides them a safe and reliable means of transportation...daily!

Community Entry Services operates a fleet of handicapped accessible vans and buses to provide DAILY transportation for our clients and those in need.

Customized vehicles are what helps make Community Entry Services stand out in the world of care for adults with disabilities. Given the expense of customization, especially for the heavier and bulkier electric wheelchairs that can weigh over 300 lbs. empty, only larger organizations like CES can afford to hire the dedicated drivers and maintain a fleet of specialized buses and vans.

But what if I want to go fishing? We have a wheelchair assessible pontoon boat!

The core compentency of CES is to provide clients with as normal and safe a life as possible. This includes facilitating social outings, vacations, camps, and even fishing!

Thanks to generous donors we were able to modify a pontoon boat to allow for several wheelchairs and thus give interested wheelchair bound clients the chance to actually fish on the water.

The fleet of some 60 vehicles are maintained thanks to many community supporters and friendly businesses including: RTO, Bailey's Tire and Auto, Fast Lane, and others.
