CES Client Jordan Yager has been involved with Central Wyoming College's theater productions for several years now. He's helped with sales, hospitality, behind the scenes production and more.

Just this past year he's been an integral part of the production of shows that include "Bright Star", "7 Brides for 7 brothers" and the recent show called "Dummy Hoy": the story of the first deaf baseball player.

Disabilities often reveal the inner strength and heroic virtue of people and historically, the life and accomplishments of William Ellsworth "Dummy" Hoy is no exception. Playing for the major leagues from 1888 to 1902 he was instrumental in developing the umpire's hand signals still used to this day!

CWC's theater production of his life featured young talent from Riverton and Lander who are students at CWC as well as local high school students. Many learned American Sign Language to showcase the challenges of communicating through gestures.

Jordan has helped these local students appreciate that everyone can help the "show go on" so long as they're cheerful and ready to provide a helping hand.
