Jackson, WY-
In October 2021, CES announced the receipt of an anonymous $500,000 donation allocated to help eliminate CES’s $1 million mortgage on their day program headquarters where community members with disabilities receive vocational and daily living skill services. This donation kicked off a months-long campaign to raise matching funds that would ultimately pay off the entirety of CES’s million dollar mortgage. Led by Dawn Hummel, long time advocate of people with disabilities and supporter of CES, and Carolyn Worth, CES’s Jackson Director at the time, the capital campaign raised $500,000 and CES now proudly owns their building, securing their future in Jackson. CES would like to thank Dawn Hummel for dedicating so much of her time to fostering donor relations and ultimately bringing us to our goal!
“The fact that an anonymous donor would create such an amazing opporutunity for CES made it impossible for me not to help!” says Dawn Hummel, Capital Campaign Chair. “It was an honor to fufill this dream for CES and witness the community come together to support adults with disabilities in Jackson!”
