Jackson native Leif Huot has worked as a Direct Service Professional for CES since 2017

Leif Huot, a DSP at Community Entry Services, was born and raised in Jackson, WY. He graduated from high school in 2012 and has known CES' new Director, Jessie Phillips since kindergarten!
Like Jessie, it was an opportunity in High School that led him to dedicate his life to care for the disabled. In his case it was the opportunity to volunteer as a hospitality greeter at St. John's Hospital in Jackson. There he met many of the clients of CES who are still around.
Leif took several of the clients on a short hike to the nearby Elk Sanctuary. He 'bikes' to work on his unicycle.
After obtaining a BA in Liberal Arts from a College in Canada, Leif returned to Jackson and has worked for CES since 2017.
Married and father of a 5 month old son, Leif loves working with our clients. Flexibility of schedule is a perk he enjoys as he also works at Jackson Airport.
When asked about his job he quipped "I love working for CES. It's the business of everyday life: I help clients with daily chores, food prep, taking their medications, and getting them out of their homes and into the community on regular outings like our hike to the Elk Sanctuary today".

He really enjoys taking the clients skiing in the winter and biking riding on nearby park trails.
"My Mom and Dad and younger brother all still live here in town so it's great for my wife and I to have their support as we juggle work and the needs of our baby boy. When I'm not working at the FBO at Jackson Airport, I pick up hours here at CES. It's really a blessing to work so close to home. [ FBO "fixed base operator". Leif helps park, refuel and coordinate aircraft operations at the busy Jackson Airport].
Now working part time for CES, Leif enjoys the flexibility of the schedule. But more than anything, working with the clients makes it more than a job. "I've known these clients since I was in high school and they feel like family to me. It's really an amazing job and no two days are alike. It really is a unique role in helping them live and enjoy life day by day."
