A sign of a professional is to not miss little details. In Ryan Cox's case, this meant noticing a persistent fan group on the sidelines cheering him on: clients of Community Entry Services.

It would be easy to ignore one more spectator or group in the blur of the glare of the lights and the excitement of High School Football. Ryan Cox is the exception. He paid attention and noticed the group of CES clients who regularly attended every game where they cheered on number 55 and his teammates.

HS Football star Ryan Cox visited CES to personally deliver a $500 check for our clients who regularly attend his games.

An essential part of Community Entry Services' mission is to provide as many regular experiences as possible to our clients. Like attending sporting events.

Whenever possible, CES staff will transport those clients who are interested to various sporting events around the area. They love football and cheering on the home team!

So we're thrilled to know that the 2025 recipient of the Homer Scott Outstanding Citizen award was Riverton's own Ryan Cox. In addition to a $500 college scholarship he was also granted $500 to give to a charity of his choice. Ryan immediately thought of Community Entry Services and those clients who cheered him on year after year.

It's thanks to generosity like Ryan's that CES is able to provide safe transportation and other care to about 130 adults with disabilities and acquired brain injuries in Fremont County. While they'll miss shouting support to number 55 on local fields, the clients and staff will be following Ryan's success as he goes on to College. We wish him the best.

He's following a long line of family members who have made a difference in Fremont County and beyond.
